my little cousin clayton stayed here for about 6 months before passing here. the nurses lived him and were very kind to my family. my cousins favorite thing there was the piano or the tv in the room where he could watch his cartoons. he sadly passed away in july 2019 but i know he was well cared for

I can not say enough good things about the Community Home Health and Hospice Care Center. The building was clean and very inviting. The outdoor woods and wildlife was a peaceful distraction. The Community staff ( nurses, CNAs , chaplains, receptionist, and nurse practitioners)were wonderful! They were all very friendly, professional, supportive and accommodating. It was truly a COMMUNITY and they made us feel like we were part of their family. Thank you so much for taking such good care of my forever friend! ❀️

Can't even put in to words how special this place is. The care they gave our Dad from the beginning to the very end was so peaceful. I would never take a loved one anywhere else for their last days. A sincere thank you for the genuine care your staff provides here to make your loved one comfortable and the family.. Even after our Dad had passed, they place a flickering candle at the end of his bed. I am forever grateful. Thank you again.

When my mother made the decision to move to hospice, I’m so glad this was the facility she chose. The staff provided her with professional, gracious care that, I think, made her passing much easier for her. From bringing her bed into the garden where she could visit with family and enjoy the outdoors, to managing her pain, and giving her scented baths, the staff consistently cared for my mother as though she were one of their own. Several of the nursing staff would stop by her room at end of shift simply to say goodbye for the day, because they said they really enjoyed visiting with her. As family, this really helped us. We knew she was valued, and to us that was everything. My mother was extremely independent even to the end, and the nursing staff allowed her the dignity and privacy she required to feel comfortable. Although we all miss my mother terribly we are thankful she was able to pass peacefully in a place where her needs and wants were paramount. Thank you.

The guilt our family felt kept us from having my Mom go to this hospice facility even though it was just across the street. My Mom was a fighter and felt a finality being moved here that she was very scared of. We struggled and were barely managing. My siblings and I tried but in the end my mother was so embarrassed and although it was our best it was a far cry from what she needed. Our hospice nurse Jocelyn, was so wonderful and stood by my Mom and family throughout her struggle. Jocelyn helped us when we made the decision to move her. Once she arrived, we had no idea what to expect. To my surprise these angels came, so delicately and respectfully, to clean and make my Mom comfortable. They restored her dignity they were so tender and compassionate. They talked to her like they loved her as we did. Nurse Toni spent time to find a way to get my Mom to relax her neck and and straighten her back…. It was the first time in months she looked comfortable. Toni and all the beautiful ladies allowed my family to not only be relieved of our previous guilt, but gave us such great relief knowing our mothers last moments here on earth were comfortable and she was cared for. Very gentle, kind, and caring. They h rd led me understand my mother's Lewybody dementia and how to comfort her. She was not coughing in pain and agony of her lungs filling up with fluid, forced to take pills and eat. Instead she was being bathed and kept clean and warm. She is able to sleep and rest until her time comes, instead of being forced to do things she did not want to do. They explained to me what to expect, at their facility and took good care of her. I got to spend private time with her praying and reading. Sharing comforting verses from the Word of God. Praying with her from her Creator that it was her time to go see Him and her other family. They are doing a great job.

my mother-in-law passed on there and they comforted her and made sure we the family were very comfortable. the staff was always thoughtful and kind. they even fed our whole family and made sleeping arrangements at times. i do not have one bad thing to say. they're wonderful. we are asking that anyone that comes to the memorial that wants to donate to a cause my mother-in-law would approve of , would send donations to community home health hospice. if you want peace for your family and loved one this is the place. i saw the reviews from just after the facility opened and they have turned their persona around 100%. wayde

As a business owner who deals with the online review process, I am reluctant to tarnish a business on social media. However, I feel that I must post my experience so upper management of this organization will make the appropriate changes so no other family experiences the horror we experienced as a family. My fifty year old wife became a Hospice patient after a three year battle with Ovarian Cancer. We were admitted ( for home hospice) on the 21st of December 2016. We heard the welcome speech along with the " we are here for you no matter what" propaganda associated with the signing of the paperwork etc. On the night of the 21st, my wife went into a extreme episode of pain about 10 pm in the evening. The on call nurse was useless. We drove to the facility to seek help. We were rudely turned away at the door by the night time staff. We then decided to go back to the ER we were at the prior night. She was admitted. She passed the next day at the hospital. One of the last memories my wife has of me and her daughter is us making a scene at the door of the Hospice house with the on call nurse. She was overwhelmed with the additional stress created by this encounter. It was an in
